What’s new on Showwcase

Creator-first Accelerator Programme

We are incredible excited about the Creator Economy. Whether you’re a content creator, educator, writer, or community builder, you bring people together and push everyone forward.

We recently just launched our Creator-first Accelerator programme on Showwcase and have already onboarded 20 amazing writers, educators, and community builders to Showwcase.

Followers and Following are now gone

When we started Showwcase our goal was to build a community of developers to:

Showcase who they are
Find people of like-minded interests
Find work in our modern software-driven world

Key word here is COMMUNITY.

So far, the best interactions i've had with the community are non-polished, raw, and conversational. This is what brings the community closer together despite us being from 180 countries worldwide!

Showwcase is a place for everyone to have a voice, to ask questions, share your projects, ideas, knowledge, and so much more as a developer. It’s not for chasing followers. It's about you and your content. Being honest and curious.

As such, we’ve gotten rid of being able to see how many Followers someone has and who they are Following. It’s just not important.

Also, the best developers have 0 followers and you shouldn’t feel inferior to someone else just cause they have more followers. It’s just not the developer way.

p.s. You can still follow someone and get their updates in your feed 😉
